The purpose of a tribute band is to let a new generation experience the sights and sounds of the past, a moment in time that the original artist either can’t or will not give a present-day audience. If you were not able to experience a “The Cure” concert in the 1980s, you can now re-live one of the most exciting and influential acts of the decade by attending a performance by The Cured – The 1980s “The Cure” Experience.
The Cured is a Southern California based realistic rendition of the 80’s super band The Cure. The band performs a true-to-era 1989 Cure concert complete with costumes, lights, effects, and of course the songs. The show was a hit from its first performance.
The Cured has soon made the transition from being a Southern California band to becoming a national act. The band seems to have momentum reminiscent of Beatlemania when they first came out. The Cured has completed several tours across the USA and abroad. Venues of note include headlining at several of the world-famous House of Blues, The Universal (Gibson) Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, Norva in Norfolk Virginia, The National in Richmond, The Highline Ballroom in New York City, and The Abbey in Chicago.
