About Us
Formed in 2022, Eminescence is the only Evanescence tribute on Long Island and is the only group privileged to boast the powerful vocals/piano of Emi Pellegrino. Pellegrino – who was voted "Best Singer on Long Island" in 2020 after being nominated three years in a row – is a certified voice teacher who maintains a YouTube following of 52,000+ subscribers and growing. An exceptionally talented singer, Emi is joined by a band with years of live experience under their belt. Consisting of guitarist Johnny Inferno, bassist Tom Schinkel (of The Reptiles), and drummer Nick Bavaro, Emi's band is prepared to send any audience on a trip down memory lane. Evanescence was larger than life in the 2000's, selling millions of records and outshining even the brightest of pop stars. Their music, like the Grammy award-winning "Bring Me To Life" and the certified platinum "Call Me When You're Sober" found its way into the hearts of many and it's almost impossible to resist belting out the band's classics at emo night. Evanescence is still played by 8,240,000 people monthly to this day and has amassed billions of views on YouTube.
